ISMETA members are professional somatic movement educators and therapists who have met a high standard of eligibility and completed an application approval process.

Professional members have completed thorough training in somatic movement through an ISMETA approved training program or one of the many other programs that exist internationally.

Each member chooses their registration title according to their training and practice: Registered Somatic Movement Educator (SM) or Registered Somatic Movement Therapist (SM).
